The 2021-22 Toronto Raptors had a heck of a season. Sure, it was a slow start — Pascal Siakam was hurt, and then the whole team got COVID — but once things settled down at the end of the December (when their record was 15-17) the Raptors won games at a .660 winning percentage, finishing with a 48-34 record and a top-5 playoff berth.
Unfortunately, a slow start in the first two games against the Philadelphia 76ers put the Raptors under the gun, and though they had a chance to get back in the series, the Sixers blew the doors off of things in Game 6 and sent the Raptors into the offseason.
Given that success, it’s not a huge surprise the Raptors didn’t make any major offseason moves. Can they get the internal growth they need to move up those standings and make deeper playoff run? Check out our Player Previews to see what’s in store!
