Game Thread: Toronto Raptors @ Cleveland Cavaliers

A seven-game losing streak hurts, but the fully stocked Raptors have a chance to put it behind them tonight against the lowly Cavs.

The Toronto Raptors will need more than one win to climb out of The Hole That Covid Dug, but grabbing a victory to snap a seven-game losing streak would feel pretty great nonetheless.

As they arrive at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse tonight, the opportunity is there. Along with a matchup with the bottom-dwelling Rockets tomorrow, seeing 13th place Cleveland (15-26) should leave the Raptors (17-24) salivating — especially before a rough three-game “home” stand against the Nuggets, Suns and Blazers to round out the week.

The team is all systems go. After OG Anunoby’s return against Utah, the injury report is crystal clear for Toronto. Meanwhile, the Cavaliers will be missing two foundational frontcourt players, as Kevin Love continues to sit with a calf injury and Andre Drummond awaits passage to a contender.
