Game Thread: Toronto Raptors vs. Atlanta Hawks

The Raptors are back, sort of.

NBA: Toronto Raptors at Atlanta Hawks Jason Getz-USA TODAY Sports

The Raptors are back... ish.

Yes, in actuality, the Toronto Raptors play a game against the Atlanta Hawks in Tampa tonight. But come on. Once again, the Raps will be down Pascal Siakam, Fred VanVleet, OG Anunoby, Malachi Flynn and Patrick McCaw, which more or less renders this a third-straight fake ass game for Toronto. A loss would certainly not be awesome, considering that every loss from here to March 25th will pour more butane onto the Kyle Lowry rumour bonfire. But it’s not like falling to Trae Young and his bad haircut will alter the team’s “much better than their record” status. Again, it’s not a real game.

Still, there are worse ways to spend the one year anniversary of The Before Times coming to an abrupt end. Read the preview, and check out the game details below.
