Game Thread: Toronto Raptors vs Detroit Pistons

Dwane Casey and his bottom-of-the-barrel crew head to Toronto to take on the scrappy Raptors. Will Pascal see his first win of the season?

The Toronto Raptors play host to the Detroit Pistons in a Saturday night matchup in Toronto this evening. It marks the return of Dwane Casey, who has coached some of his best games as a Piston against the Raptors, and Nurse will as always have his work cut out for him against his predecessor.

Tonight’s game against Detroit will be Toronto’s last at Scotiabank Arena until November 28th — just over two full weeks from now. It’ll be a grueling road trip for the unseasoned youngsters on the team, and their mettle will be tested almost as much as it will be tonight against Cade Cunningham (on an awful shooting start to the season), Dwane Casey and his crew.

Where to Watch:

TSN, 7:30 PM EST

Lineups:

Toronto – Fred VanVleet, Gary Trent Jr., OG Anunoby, Scottie Barnes, Pascal Siakam

Detroit – Saddiq Bey, Jerami Grant, Isaiah Stewart, Cade Cunningham, Killian Hayes

Toronto – Khem Birch (knee – questionable), Precious Achiuwa (shoulder – questionable), Yuta Watanabe (calf – out)

Detroit – Kelly Olynyk (knee – out)
