With plans well underway for a 2021 G League season, we now have more details with regards to the Raptors 905 roster and their schedule for the coming run. As announced by the team today, here’s how the 905 roster is shaping up for training camp on January 31:

The obvious names that jump out here: the Raptors’ two recent second round picks, Jalen Harris and Dewan Hernandez; former 905ers Henry Ellenson, Alize Johnson, and Matt Morgan; current useful bench piece Yuta Watanabe, who may not see much time in the G League; and, whoa, look at that, former eighth overall pick in 2014 and TV personality, Canadian Nik Stauskas. As we previously discussed, this 2021 Raptors 905 squad will be led by new head coach (and long-time Raptors staffer) Patrick Mutombo.

Given the current pandemic situation — you know, that whole thing — the participating G League teams will each play a 15-game season in the reinstated Orlando Bubble. For the 905, that means a tip-off on February 10 against the reigning champion Rio Grande Valley Vipers.
