Our old friend Chris Haynes is reporting that Raptors fans will have a reason to tune into All-Star Saturday night in a week-and-a-half: Pascal Siakam is going to be in the Skills Challenge!
Toronto Raptors star Pascal Siakam has accepted an invitation to compete in the Skills Challenge during All-Star Weekend, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

This comes on the heels of Pascal’s selection as an All-Star starter for the first time. Now he’ll be in action on Saturday too!
And I’d say he has a pretty good shot at winning the dang thing, too, right? As all Raptors fans know, there’s very little Pascal can’t do on the court— which, of course, is amazing, since when he arrived here four years ago it seemed the only thing he could do was hustle!
Since then he’s developed a full package of skills covering everything you want from a number one option to do on the floor, and I’m sure we’ll see it all on display Saturday night.
Now, if my memory serves me correctly (and a quick Google search confirms), no Raptor has ever won the Skills Challenge. We’ve had a couple slam dunk contest winners and a three-point shootout winner, but this one thus far has eluded us. Both DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry have participated in the past, but came away empty-handed... Let’s see Pascal bring it home in 2020!
