So, the Raptors swept the lowly Knicks and Bulls in a three-game tanking gauntlet, but nobody was really excited about what Toronto showed — their opponents have combined for fewer than 40 wins on this wonderful season. However, after Monday’s drubbing of the possible playoff-bound Magic, fans got a glimpse of a dialled-in Raptors squad, and what they are capable of.
Consider tonight another opportunity for one of those outings. The Brooklyn Nets are currently one of four teams vying for the final three spots in the Eastern Conference playoff race, so this game surely means a lot to them. Toronto on the other hand wants to keep churning out huge offensive games, and locking in their defense, to prove they’re one of the most dangerous teams in the entire league, let alone the East.
