It’s hard to believe, given the 11-game losing the streak the Raps suffered at the hands of Jimmy Butler and Tony Snell and Doug McDermott and E’Twaun Moore and other various rotation scrubs from the Thibs era, but the Raptors are undefeated against Chicago since the Serge Ibaka trade.
They will probably extend that streak tonight. This edition of the Bulls stinks as is. Take three of its five best remaining players out of the mix, and they are a cataclysm. Zach LaVine and Otto Porter will miss tonight’s game, same as they did Saturday against the Jazz... when they lost 114-83. Kris Dunn’s been added to the list of inactives as well.
This game is a just a thing the Raptors have to do. It’s like grocery shopping or taking out the trash. No one wants to do it, but like, you gotta eat.
If you’re gonna be subjecting yourself to this one, here’s what you need to know.
