The Raptors make their first trip to Madison Square Garden, where Marc Gasol is expected to make his debut

NBA: New York Knicks at Toronto Raptors John E. Sokolowski-USA TODAY Sports

In their second game since the trade deadline, the Raptors make their first trip of the year to Madison Square Garden tonight to take on the New York Knicks. While they were left with only nine players suited up against the Hawks, tonight they will have all players active and ready to go. Most notably, tonight will mark the debut of their deadline acquisition Marc Gasol.

The Raptors come into tonight’s game on a three game win streak, and winners in seven of their last ten. Meanwhile the Knicks come in on an incredible 15-game losing streak and hold the league’s worst record. So tonight should be a good opportunity to see how Coach Nurse will work Gasol into the team.

Since the deadline, the Raptors have made two more additions to the roster, signing Malcolm Miller and Ben McLemore to ten-day contracts. While they aren’t the biggest names out on the buyout market, they’ll both provide the Raptors with wing depth and three point shooting, along with the flexibility of adding other buyout candidates that become available.

If you’d like a look at other players the Raptors could target on the buyout market, check out Josh Kern’s detailed write-up here.

Make sure to check out Zakaria Abdulle’s game preview here and below are the details and updates for tonight’s contest. Now let’s watch.
