Add Danny Green into the mix for the Raptors at next week’s All-Star Weekend. With Kawhi Leonard and Kyle Lowry named to the star-studded East squad, their veteran teammate Green will join them as a competitor in the Three-Point Contest held on Saturday night. If you can believe it, Green is actually 50th in three-point attempts per game on the season, but he’s also been one of the more consistent shooters from deep on the year.
As per the official Mountain Dew sponsored announcement, Green will be shooting against:

That’s from left to right: Khris Middleton, Steph Curry, (first in the league in three-point makes per game) Kemba Walker, Damian Lillard, Dirk Nowitzki (in a nice touch), Seth Curry (brothers!), Devin Booker (defending 3-point champion), Joe Harris (still on sight), Buddy Hield).
For his part, Green is shooting 42 percent from three on 5.4 attempts per game. In terms of accuracy, that puts him first in Toronto, but he’ll have to do some work to compete against the deadliest shooters in the league. Nevertheless, Green is now the fourth Raptor in franchise history to compete in the event — joining Kyle Lowry, Walt Williams, and Jason Kapono (the only Raptor to ever win the thing).
The 3-Point Contest, along with the Dunk Contest, will take place on All-Star Saturday Night (as is tradition) on February 16th in Charlotte, North Carolina.
