As the 2018-19 NBA season approaches, the Raptors are doing their due diligence in building their training camp roster. As reported yesterday (and made official today), Toronto has signed forward Deng Adel to a partially guaranteed deal.
Sources: Undrafted Louisville forward Deng Adel changed course from Minnesota training camp and instead will sign a partially guaranteed deal with the Raptors.

Much like Kyle Collinsworth, who was also officially signed today, Adel will join the Raps in training camp as the 19th man on the roster.
As a 21-year-old, 6'7", and 200 pound forward from Sudan, Adel spent the last three seasons playing ball at Louisville. He averaged 11.2 points and 4.1 rebounds in 26.8 minutes across those three years, appearing in a total of 89 games (with 71 starts). He also shot 35 percent from three in that time, which is no small thing.
As with every recent Raptors signing, don't expect a long run with Adel in a Toronto jersey. Still, welcome to the team Deng.
