Possible Trades for Serge Ibaka that might make some sense (Maybe?)

Houston gets Serge Ibaka
Toronto gets Ryan Anderson & Miami's second round pick, future other pick.

This one is technically a wash that favours Houston. Ryan was a complete non factor in the playoffs but he played decently during the regular season shooting a respectable 38% from 3 with an attempt rate of about 70%. His PER was worse than Ibaka's and he is older (hence the pick coming back to Toronto). Houston improves themselves defensively while not hurting their core. Ibaka doesn't shoot the 3 as well as Ryan can but he is good enough to not hurt their spacing too much. Anderson might be a better fit beside JV and Poeltl (who struggled to play with Serge).

NY Knicks get Serge Ibaka

Toronto gets Joakim Noah + Chicago's 2nd round pick.

This is strictly a dump of about 3 million dollars. I would prefer to flip Serge for Kanter but I doubt NY would do that. NY gets a player they can actually play for the money they are paying and could start until Prozingis is fully healthy.

Washington gets Serge Ibaka

Toronto gets Marcin Gortat and Jodie Meeks dead money.

This is pure salary dump where Toronto gets one useful back up (now) center and take on the suspended Meeks salary for next season. The plus for Washington is Ibaka is younger and they get to dump Meeks.

LA Lakers get Serge Ibaka

Toronto gets Luol Deng and Denver's 2nd round pick

Deng is not wanted in LA but Ibaka might be a player that they can use to entice a free agent or to supplement their roster if(when) they strike out in FA. LA is not far from being a playoff team now so who knows.(of course this trade makes more sense if its Derozan going to the Lakers).

Minnesotta gets Serge Ibaka + Future pick

Toronto gets Andrew Wiggins

Even though a Wiggins for Derozan play would be terrible, this would actually make more sense for Toronto and possibly even Minny. Minny gets better up front (Ibaka can play the center spot of Towns) and they get to dump Wiggins ridiculously large contract. Toronto might have to send another player (Richardson?)to make it work financially though.

Oklahoma City gets Serge Ibaka and Norman Powell

Toronto gets Carmelo Anthony

I have mixed emotions about this trade. It works financially and there a kind of sense to the trade but, ugh, I hate Anthony. On the plus side, Anthony is done after next season so push comes to shove they can always buy him out after the trade deadline. This trade would really depend on whether George returned. If he doesn't then I doubt OKC moves Anthony.
