The Raptors look to continue a short win streak in D.C.

The history of ugly games between the Washington Wizards and Toronto Raptors is a long and storied one — as is the Raptors playing the Wizards when they’re short-handed.

They’ll be doing that again tonight, as the Wizards’ star John Wall will miss a significant amount of time due to knee surgery. He’s been replaced in the All-Star Game, but it’s of no help to the ‘Zards — who are having a rough go in the bottom half of the Eastern Conference.

So the Raptors should be good, right? Not so fast. Marcin Gortat and Bradley Beal have been Toronto kryptonite since (dare we bring it up) 2014-15, and always loom as threats.

Still, the Raptors have the Eastern Conference Player of the Month on their side in DeMar DeRozan. All will be fine in the end.

Here’s the game details, now join us in the comments.
