It appears as though Butt Watch 2018 has come to an official end. Kyle Lowry first said he plans to play today in Philadelphia. He’s from there, as you’ll recall, and he likes to play basketball, as you know. Of course, we also have the memory of Lowry writhing on the floor in agony after taking a hard fall to the court.
Is his return too soon? Well, second, the Raptors have confirmed he’ll start, so we’ll see.
On that note, this entire game is too soon. I realize it’s a holiday in America — and a very good one at that, even as it’s being misrepresented by clueless politicians and soulless corporate entities alike — but give the Canadian team a break here. The majority of Raptor fans are at work or in school right now!
Nevertheless, we carry on. Here’s Dylan Litman’s preview of Raptors-Sixers.
And here are the details we have right now.
