Just try to tell him he’s not going to play in Philadelphia. That’s long been the book on Kyle Lowry, the kid from North Philly. We know this, he knows this, and now here we are — reportedly.
Because of Martin Luther King Jr. Day in the States, the Raptors are set to tip-off against the 76ers today at 1pm. It doesn’t give us a lot of time to absorb this news, but according to Keith Pompey, one of the main men on the Sixers beat, Kyle Lowry plans to play.
The tweet report in question:

As you’ll recall, we here at Butt Watch 2018 have been active since last Monday night. That was when Lowry landed extremely hard on his ass/butt area in a game against the Brooklyn Nets. (Thanks for nothing Joe Harris.) He was carried off the court in that game — which the Raptors won in OT — and missed the following three games (vs. the Heat, Cavs, and Warriors).
All we know right now: apparently Lowry is active and intends on playing.
Just try to tell him different.
IT’S OFFICIAL:
Today's starters, at Philadelphia: Kyle Lowry, DeMar DeRozan, OG Anunoby, Serge Ibaka, Jonas Valanciunas. #WeTheNorth
