FB Live from Raptors Media Day: Talking expectations and adaptations

Each and every Raptor had a little something to say today on Media Day, so we talked about them too.

NBA: Toronto Raptors at Detroit Pistons Raj Mehta-USA TODAY Sports

Raptors media day gives everyone a chance to assess expectations, discuss adaptations, and, quite frankly, give real assessments of where the team is right now. And if this morning taught us anything it’s that the Raptors sounds like they’re in a good place. The new faces (namely C.J. Miles) are jazzed, the young guys (Delon Wright, et. al.) are fired up, and the team’s veterans are ready to adjust what they have to in order to take this team to the next level. (We also learned that Donald Trump sucks, but we knew that already.)

As the event wound down, Sean Woodley and I discussed everything we saw and heard about on media day, the (un)official start to the 2017-18 NBA season for your Toronto Raptors. (Stay watching for the Blake “Media Day Legend” Murphy cameo.)

For all the other updates, check out the open thread here. I tried to include as much as I could, even as more and more things were happening around the BioSteel Centre at the same time.

And there’s still time to like our Facebook page to get these updates, and Live events in real time.
