While Adrian Wojnarowski was surely getting some extra needed rest this morning, the Robin to his Batman, Shams Charania, gave us some more Toronto Raptors news:
North Carolina's Kennedy Meeks has agreed to a partially guaranteed deal with the Toronto Raptors, league sources say.

You would have to guess the deal would include a summer league and training camp invite for the UDFA, as well as the possibility of a 2-way G-League contract for the Raptors 905, should he fail to break the NBA roster coming out of camp.
Meeks is a classic Roy Williams recruit, coming in as an All-American in 2013 and playing all four years as a Tar Heel, capping off his NCAA career with a title this past March. His signature performance came in the semi-final game against Oregon, in which scored 25 points on 11-13 and grabbed 14 rebounds while punishing the Ducks down low.
He began his college career as a 300 pound round mound of rebound, but continually worked on his body and was playing at a new low of 260 pounds this season, which allowed him to play much deeper into games as the starter.
With OG Anunoby still rehabbing his knee, Meeks’ activity in the post and on the offensive glass will be a storyline to watch during summer league next month.
6/22/17 date I'll never forget!
