Oh baby this intro is real dope.
Adam Silver the only commissioner in professional sports to not get booed?
1. Markelle Fultz
We *officially* found out about this selection from Stein at 7:11pm
Inside 30 minutes to go before the Sixers officially make Markelle Fultz the No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft. At 7:37 PM-ish ...
— Marc Stein (@ESPNSteinLine) June 22, 2017
WHOA! EARLY TRADE SCOOP FROM STEIN:
The Wolves are close to acquiring Jimmy Butler from Chicago, according to league sources
— Marc Stein (@ESPNSteinLine) June 22, 2017
Gotta guess there’s a pick swap here, and LaVine along with some salary filler...
K.C. Johnson has the official deets:
The Bulls are getting Zach LaVine, Kris Dunn and the 7th pick, per sources. Bulls keep 16th pick.
— K.C. Johnson (@KCJHoop) June 22, 2017
Time to dump Dwyane Wade on Brooklyn, but what a heist for the T-Wolves. They might actually make the playoffs next year!!
2. Lonzo Ball to the Lake Show
LaVar spoke it into existence, and now it has come true. Truly shocked LaVar didn’t bum rush the stage.
How much would you pay to sit beside the Ball fam at a Laker game?
LAVAR HAS GUARANTEED PLAYOFFS. Jalen Rose is very excited.
3. Celtics are selecting Jayson Tatum at #3
Trader Danny passed up on Jimmy Butler to selected this Dookie, so Celtics nation can be a 4th seed in the East in 2022.
....welp, Ainge may have had this plan to pass on Butler all along:

5. Sacramento is selecting the utterly delightful De’Aaron Fox
The Sacramento Kings will select De'Aaron Fox with the No. 5 pick, league source tells @TheVertical.
— Adrian Wojnarowski (@WojVerticalNBA) June 22, 2017
There was a lot of scuttlebutt that the Kings might try to wait on Fox to slide even lower to them at 10, but they make the safe choice here with the fastest prospect in the draft.
6. The devoid of any talent Orlando Magic are taking Jonathan Isaac
Jeff Weltman makes his first selection in what is gonna be a hell of a rebuilding project down in Disney World.
Isaac has a ton of length though, Mr. Wingspan if that’s what you’re down for.
7. Lauri Markkanen
LOLOLOLOOLOLOLOLOLOL BULLS WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!
RIP BARSTOOL BIG CAT.
— Big Cat (@BarstoolBigCat) June 23, 2017
8. Frank Ntilinkina goes to the New York Dumpster Fire
With Phil’s handpicked Porzingis replacement off the board, they select the next best Euro. Then again, Phil may have been asleep, and Steve Mills made this pick.
9. Dennis Smith Jr. falls to the Mavs, and they got a good one
This dude is a stud.
PAUL GEORGE TRADE UPDATE:
Can confirm the #Celtics-#Pacers talks for Paul George, but sides are not close.
— gary washburn (@GwashburnGlobe) June 23, 2017

11. MJ heard me, and he’s taking Malik Monk
Real excited for the Monk-Dwight PnR....
12. Stan Van is taking Luke Kennard from Duke at 12
And if he didn’t go to Duke, I think he’d just be another guy. PJ Dozier is better.
13. Utah makes a NIFTY TRADE. Good on ‘em
Utah will send Trey Lyles and the No. 24 pick to Denver for No. 13, league source tells @TheVertical.
— Adrian Wojnarowski (@WojVerticalNBA) June 23, 2017
Sasky’s adopted son Trey Lyles joins good ol’ Kitchener boy Jamal Murray in Denver.
