Semi Ojeleye headlines the latest batch of players to come through Toronto.

In advance of the NBA Draft, some new recruits are in Toronto’s BioSteel centre today to get worked out by the Raptors staff. While the rest of us are sleeping in on this glorious long weekend, the grind continues. The 23rd pick awaits.

Here’s the latest batch of players:

Tyler Dorsey, Guard, 6-3, Oregon

Kobi Simmons, Guard, 6-3, Arizona

Dillon Brooks, Forward, 6-5, Oregon

Semi Ojeleye, Forward, 6-5, SMU

Markis McDuffie, Forward, 6-8, Wichita State

Johnathan Williams, Forward, 6-8, Gonzaga

According to our friends at Draft Express, Semi Ojeleye is the highest ranked player in this bunch. They’ve got him at 28 on the Top 100 prospects, but getting picked 38th in their latest mock draft. Still, Ojeleye put up 19 points and 6.9 rebounds per game last season, while shooting 42 percent from three. If the Raptors were looking for help on the wing, maybe Semi’s the guy.

The rest of the crew, even Canadian Dillon Brooks, is ranked in the 40s or beyond (with McDuffie and Williams not even in the top 100).

Maybe the Raptors brass wanted a vacation day too?

The NBA Draft is still set for June 22nd.
