Raptors vs. Heat: Who Are Those Guys?

The Heat are surging into a playoff of spot, the Raptors are trying to hang onto home court advantage. Who ya got?

Dan Hamilton-USA TODAY Sports

There was a funny moment, early in the season, when the Raptors' various nemeses -- the Pacers, the Bulls, the Wizards, the Heat -- were in the toilet. Each of those teams has some claim on the Raptors' soul. The Pacers nearly embarrassed them in the first round, the Bulls are undead, the Wizards have that '15 sweep to speak of, and the Heat made things difficult in the second round last year. It felt good to see the Raptors come out on top though, the best revenge being to live will and all that.

Except, it didn't last. The Wizards are now in second, and the Pacers, Bulls and Heat are squabbling for seats in the six to eight range of the Eastern Conference. I'd like them all to fail. But I digress, let's get to the Heat.

As my title suggests, the Heat can be summed up with the help of Paul Newman in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.

As Harsh Dave made clear in his preview, the Heat employ a bunch of guys who, well, are not exactly big stars. We know about Goran Dragic and the surprising emergence of Hassan Whiteside, but this team was supposed to be bad. And yet, one 13-game win streak later, Miami is 31-34, a half game out of the 8-seed, and tied with the Bulls. Who are those guys?

Let's watch and find out. And hey, maybe James Johnson will charm us once more. We know who that guy is. Let's get to the comments.
