Raptors vs. Hornets Game Thread: Back to the road grind

After flying through the last few home games, the Raptors fly for real to Charlotte to take on the Hornets. Let’s watch.

The Hornets are still a team we can safely ignore. For all the questions we heap on the Raptors about relevance, the fans in Charlotte merely wish they could have such problems. This is a team owned by Michael Jordan, and yet still hasn’t made much of a dent in the culture. We called it a waste, but we’re Raptors fans — we have our own mountains to climb.

So what’s the news today? Apparently Serge Ibaka is back in the lineup for the Raptors. His sore knee is fine today. Meanwhile, our guy C.J. Miles is in for a dental procedure. Let’s just say this: without looking into it, if the procedure is serious enough to miss a game, I don’t want to know a single iota more about it. Godspeed C.J.

And that’s it. Kemba Walker, sore wrist and all, is supposed to play in this one, which will help the Hornets. As for the rest of this team — save for nascent Raptor killer Frank Kaminsky — I’m not too worried about it.

Here’s Dan Grant’s Hornets-Raptors preview from this morning.

Now, as always, let’s watch.
