Our Raptors must’ve enjoyed a great night sleep last night. It was their first night home following a four-game road trip, yet another west coast swing in what has been, up until this point, the most road-heavy schedule in the league this season.
It seems our fan base is truly expecting greatness from the team this year, and for good reason – they’ve shown an ability to play brilliantly on a consistent basis. However, in a little exercise in perspective, despite the lackluster play during the four-game road trip, they posted an average win margin of +11.3 points in their three wins.
They’re taking care of business, though not in the pretty, comfortable way we’ve often seen early on. So, tonight is an opportunity for the team to post another dominant performance on both ends and give the home crowd what they want – a 50 point victory.
Head on over and read John Gaudes’ preview of tonight’s game before you settle in on this snowy Friday evening to watch the sharpshooting Raptors toast some Nets.
A few changes have been made pre-game: DeMarre Carroll is OUT and Allen Crabbe is listed as questionable for Brooklyn. For the Raptors, Delon Wright makes his return after suffering a dislocated shoulder last month.
Here’s the pre-game Facebook Live with Sean Woodley and Seerat Sohi:
