Raptors vs. Nuggets Game Thread: Let’s roll on the road

New, comments

The Raptors are back on track after two impressive wins on the road. Can they keep it going in Denver?

We like to practice caution here at HQ, but the Raptors’ performance on Monday night against the Portland Trail Blazers got many of us... excited? jazzed? turned up? What’s an appropriate adjective here?

Dan Devine at Yahoo summed things up pretty well with his headline the other day: The Portland Trail Blazers missed 20 friggin' shots in a row. Some of that is luck, sure, but some of it is pure, hard defensive efficiency from the Toronto Raptors. Hoo-rah.

But still, caution! The Raptors head to Denver tonight to take on the Nuggets in their fifth game of a sixer on the road. It’s been a long trek and yet the Raptors continue to handle business (even when, as with the close losses to the Spurs and Warriors, they don’t handle business). Will the upgraded and optimistic Nuggets give them trouble? Let’s watch.

Here’s our full preview for tonight’s game with all the details.
