Raptors vs. Trail Blazers Game Thread: Let’s get back on track, shall we?

The Raptors are 1-1 after a rough game in Hawaii, of all places. It’s only the preseason, but let’s root for them anyway.

The preseason continues in 30 minutes with the Raptors taking on the Trail Blazers in Portland. The game itself doesn’t mean a whole lot, but I have some questions.

  1. Which back up centre will we see — Lucas Nogueira or Jakob Poeltl?
  2. Who’s starting for good — C.J. Miles (presumably for now) or Norman Powell?
  3. Can the Raptors shoot over 30 percent from three?
  4. Can the Raptors look less than lost when Kyle Lowry (or to a lesser extent, DeMar DeRozan) takes a seat?
  5. Who is going to win the Jonas Valanciunas vs. Jusuf Nurkic battle?

There are probably more questions, but I’ll leave that decision — the decision to come up with more random questions for a preseason game in early October — to you. The need to knows are below. Now get in the comments and let’s get fired up.

Where to Watch:

TSN at 10pm

Raptors - Kyle Lowry, DeMar DeRozan, C.J. Miles, Serge Ibaka, Jonas Valanciunas
