As we saw in Saturday night’s game against the Sixers, the Raptors’ Jonas Valanciunas sprained his left ankle after falling on Dario Saric and had to leave the game. After further tests, it’s been confirmed that JV will sit out for, at the very least, Monday’s game against the Spurs.
On the bright side: it sounds like the injury isn’t super serious, as Valanciunas did make the trip out west with the Raptors. For now, I’d say we should at least to be considered a day-to-day concern.
Here’s the official wording from the Raptors.
