The Raptors won their 2017-18 season opener 117-100 against the Chicago Bulls last night and the mood was jubilant afterwards. There are many reasons for this: as the score implies, it was an easy win, there are a lot of fun moments found therein, the Bulls Curse has apparently been lifted, etc.
Sure it’s just one game of 82, but it sets a nice tone. Here’s what the Raptors had to say post-game about the win and the start of the season.
Dwane Casey is impressed.
Jonas Valanciuns keeps perspective.
Delon Wright is getting comfortable.
C.J. Miles is expressive.
Norm likes to get in on Fred VanVleet’s moment.
Kyle Lowry is happy.
DeMar DeRozan is like a proud father.
And OG Anunoby is the greatest of all time.
