The last time the Raptors and Bulls faced each other, it was a bit nuts. There were injuries, there was a massive comeback by Toronto, there were startling plays from DeMar DeRozan, there was even a fight. You should remember all these details, even today, because it was indeed a particularly memorable game — and it semi-officially ended a long running curse.
I say “semi” there because, well, as is often the case with curses: I’m not so sure it’s really gone. The Raptors beat the Bulls in their last matchup, and yet here we are on Friday the 13th in October in the gotdamn preseason. This, my friends, is a classic case of tempting fate. The game doesn’t count, both teams just want to get it over with, and yet... I am nervous as hell.
Here are the broadcast, lineup details, and link to our preview. Now let’s nervously follow along in the comments.
