Raptors vs. Bulls: Tonight's the night

The Raptors haven't beaten the Bulls in years, but Chicago is the weakest it's been in some time. Could tonight be the night?

Tom Szczerbowski-USA TODAY Sports

The Raptors are in Chicago tonight to take on the Bulls. This is a foreboding sentence because, well, the Raptors haven't beaten the Bulls since December 31, 2013. Luol Deng led all scorers with 16 points.

Still, this is a completely different Bulls team now, and for the most part, it's a completely different Raptors team as well. I say "for the most part" because a lot of the core parts of that 2013 version of the Raps are still here -- Kyle Lowry, DeMar DeRozan, Terrence Ross, Jonas Valanciunas, and Patrick Patterson (who is injured right now. The difference of course is that they are all much better versions of themselves.

Two Bulls that are still around are Taj Gibson and Jimmy Butler, the latter of whom has single-handedly beaten the Raptors in the past. I won't rehash history here -- it's still too painful. Let's just move on.

In any case, check out our preview here from Sean Woodley and then get in the comments. This one should be pretty raucous.
