Biyombo thanks Toronto and the Raptors organization in Instagram note

We're all dealing with the departure of Bismack Biyombo in our own way. You might be upset about it, or have the insane view that Toronto should have done more to keep him, or just feel sad about it. Me personally, I'm listening to breakup songs and staring out rain-soaked windows. Yeah, what of it?

We all also know that Biyombo is nothing if not an emotional person. He gets fired up, he gets angry, and sometimes he gets thoughtful. Today on his Instagram account, he penned a nice little thank you note to the city of Toronto and the Raptors organization. It's a fitting conclusion to his time here.

Now I'll just leave this here and then go and have a good cry. We'll miss you, Biz!

Because every minute, every second counts for me and I just want to thank the Raptors organization and most importantly my teammates and coaches, I wouldn't be in this situation without your efforts and caring on and off the court. To all the fans, thank you for an amazing time in the 6ix. You welcomed me like one of yours! You helped me get comfortable and enjoy this season. I also don't expect everyone to understand my decision. I won't forget this season and Toronto will always be in my heart. I appreciate and love you guys!
