Second half of Las Vegas Summer League schedule announced with Raptors as the 1-seed

New, comments

Toronto stay gunning for the Las Vegas Summer League title.

Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

With a 3-0 run through the opening round of the Las Vegas Summer League, the Raptors have secured the number one seed for the rest of the tournament. The NBA announced the remaining schedule of games, playing out until July 18th, with the Raptors (and every other team) a lock for at least two more games.

The Raptors return to action on Thursday at 7pm (10pm EST) to face the winner of Wednesday night's Houston vs. Golden State game (thanks to a first round bye). A win there would see them play in the quarterfinals on Saturday, the semifinals on Sunday and the title game on Monday.

As has been the case all tourney, Norman Powell will presumably lead the Raptors to the best of his ability. The second-year guard has shown again and again this past week that he's in a class above at this tourney. In three games so far, Powell has lead the team with averages of 21.7 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.0 steals, while shooting 44 percent from the field, 53 percent from 3 (!!!), and 91 percent from the free throw line.
