Raptors announce Las Vegas Summer League schedule

Once the NBA Draft is done, all eyes will be on Vegas as teams convene with their new young players in the desert.

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

Since the NBA season never really ends, we haven't even gotten to the draft yet and we're already talking about the next thing. In this case, that thing is the Las Vegas Summer League, where a selection of NBA teams will compete in Nevada to nebulous competitive ends.

One such team is the Raptors, who will bring a roster that presumably includes some combination of Bruno Caboclo (now only two years away), Delon Wright, Norman Powell, Lucas Nogueira, and potentially draft picks no. 9 and 27 from this year's draft. That's quite a squad.

The Raptors also announced recently that Jama Mahlalela will coach the Summer League team, a duty that usually fell to the now-departed Jesse Mermuys.

Here's the official press release from the NBA. And here's the preliminary round schedule for the Raptors:

Time (PT / ET)

July 8

Cox Pavilion

7 p.m.10 p.m.

July 10

Cox Pavilion

3 p.m.6 p.m.

July 11

Thomas & Mack Center

3:30 p.m.6:30 p.m.

We'll provide updates when the rest of the roster is announced and, if everything goes according to plan, have live reports from Summer League this year.

Stay tuned.
