FanDuel Fantasy Advice for Raptors vs. Celtics

New, comments

Play along with tonight's eight-game NBA slate by joining our one-day fantasy basketball tournament presented by FanDuel, SB Nation, and Raptors HQ!

Tom Szczerbowski-USA TODAY Sports

Tonight, your Toronto Raptors look to win their third in a row as they head home to take on the Boston Celtics at the ACC.

You can play along with this and the other seven games on tonight's fun-filled NBA slate by joining one of the many one-day fantasy basketball tournaments available on FanDuel. You can even win some real cash money in the process.

Here's how:

  • Click here to enter the contest we're promoting tonight. It only costs $2 to play, the top 33,900 entries win an immediate cash payout, and first place walks away with a cool $25,000.
  • If you're not sure how FanDuel works, check out our initial post on the partnership from the start of the season.

As usual, here's our preferred Raptors pick for the week, just in case you want to have some rooting interest in your fantasy lineup:

Bismack Biyombo ($4,200)

For as long as Jonas Valanciunas is sidelined, Bismack Biyombo will be a top value play at center night in and night out. At a near-minimum salary of $4,200, how can you really refuse a guy that just dropped 16 points, 25 rebounds, two blocks, and no turnovers last night for a whopping 50.0 fantasy points?

Over the three games since JV sustained the hand contusion, Biyombo has averaged 11.3 points, 14.7 rebounds, 0.3 assists, 3.3 blocks, and no turnovers per contest, which is good for 36.1 fantasy points per game. You will need to keep an eye on the injury report to know if Valanciunas will play in the game or not, but if he misses his third straight, fire away with Biyombo.

Now, let's head on down to the comment section and construct ourselves some winning lineups!

Editor's Note: SB Nation's partner FanDuel is running a $300,000 fantasy basketball league tonight. It's $2 to enter and first place wins $25,000. Join now!
