Play Along with the Raptors and Cavaliers with FanDuel

You can play along with tonight's eight-game NBA slate by joining our one-day fantasy basketball tournament presented by FanDuel, SB Nation, and Raptors HQ!

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

The last time your Toronto Raptors played the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Cavs embarrassed the Raps with a 122-100 blowout victory that sent a wave of depression over the #WeTheNorth fanbase.

Times have changed a bit since then, though. The Raptors have won 17 of their 20 games played since that fateful night in early January, clearly establishing themselves as the second-best team in the Eastern Conference.

Tonight will be a great test for Toronto, as they try to prove that the last 20 games have meant something and that they belong in the East's upper echelon with Cleveland. You can play along with this and the other seven games on tonight's fun-filled NBA slate by joining one of the many one-day fantasy basketball tournaments available on FanDuel. You can even win some real money in the process.

Here's how:

  • Click here to enter the contest we're promoting tonight. It only costs $2 to play, the top 33,900 entries win an immediate cash payout, and first place walks away with a cool $25,000.
  • If you're not sure how FanDuel works, check out our initial post on the partnership from the start of the season.

As usual, here's our preferred Raptors pick for the week, just in case you want to have some rooting interest in your fantasy lineup:

Kyle Lowry ($8,800)

Lowry continues to be a steady and reliable fantasy force this season and his salary being on the lower end of the elite tier makes him someone you can consider rostering any time the Raptors play. It helps that he's on a bit of a roll as well, averaging 41.1 fantasy points per game (FPPG) over his last seven contests with averages of 22.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, 7.7 assists, 1.1 steals, 0.6 blocks, and 2.1 turnovers per game.

He's also gotten up for both of the games that the Raptors have played against Cleveland so far this year, averaging 25.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 8.0 assists, 2.0 steals, 1.0 block, and 0.0 turnovers over those two contests, good for 49.8 FPPG. The Raptors will be looking to prove they can hang with the Cavaliers tonight and -- as usual -- they will go only as far as Kyle Lowry can take them. Let him take your fantasy lineup on his back as well.

Now, let's jump down to the comment section to construct some winning lineups!
