Bebe hits three vs. Wizards, makes garbage time fun

This is for real.

Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

The Raptors have had some exciting garbage time moments over the last couple years. Having an entire lineup of developmental projects not fit for regular minutes will facilitate that.

You may remember when Bruno Caboclo eight points on the Bucks last year as the ACC chanted his name like he was a three hour old slice of ultimately disappointing pizza; we've seen a few Anthony Bennett throw downs; and there have flashes of passing brilliance from Bebe Nogueira. All of those little instances keep us watching even when the result of the game is in little doubt.

Bebe gave us another landmark garbage time moment last night when he did this:

You're not hallucinating. Bebe hit a three last night.

Amazingly, this isn't the first professional triple the Raptors' prospect has connect from long range. He didn't attempt a single three-pointer during his three years in Spain, but he has gone 1-for-9 from distance in the D-League this year. Last night marked his first NBA three.

Given the look of that stroke, I doubt we're in for too many more.
