Last night, Kyle Lowry took some time off from being a dad to answer some fan questions on Twitter.com, one of the more fashionable social media networks. As an intrepid journalist, I took the opportunity to ask the question that's been on my mind, and I assume many others as well.

So, the future of the headband will be in the hands of you, the incompetent public. I don't want to turn this into politics, but if Lowry opens this up and you vote for no headband, you need to get your head checked. Need I remind you that on March 16, Lowry wore a headband and had 20 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists in a blowout win over the Indiana Pacers. There were some less successful outings for Headband Lowry, but I choose to remember the best of times.
