So, the Raptors were eliminated in their bid for a summer league championship last night with a loss to the Chicago Bulls, and to be honest, it's a shame we won't get a banner worthy of being next to the inaugural season one (do they even let you hang summer league banners at an actual NBA arena? Do the rules apply to Canada?).
Tonight, the Raptors wrap up their summer league schedule with a consolation game against the Portland Trail Blazers. It will be on NBA TV Canada and starts at 10:30 est. If you're really looking for a basketball fix on a Friday night, congratulations!
In the meantime, do read Daniel Hackett's RPM predictions for the Raptors (and the rest of the league) from earlier today, which provides an optimistic view for our team this season.
Enjoy the game!
