Raptors officially sign guard Norman Powell

Everybody's favourite Summer League star has been signed by the Raptors.

Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

The Raptors made it official today, announcing they've signed UCLA's Norman Powell, Toronto's breakout Summer League star, to a deal. (Exact financial details are not disclosed, as per team policy.)

If you've been watching the basketball in Vegas, then there's no way you haven't noticed Powell in the three games he's played for the Raptors. He's been everywhere on the court, averaging 19.3 points per game (on 59.5 percent shooting), while hassling any opponent who dares come into his long-for-his-height wingspan. There was no doubt Powell would be snapped up officially by Toronto. So here we are.

The question now is: Where does Norman Powell end up once the NBA season starts? Is he the team's fourth or fifth guard? Does he stay on the end of the bench? Is he sent to the D-League? And how often have you typed "Normal Powell" by mistake?

What do you guys think?
