Raptors vs. Bulls, Las Vegas Summer League: Who ya got?

It's game two for the Raptors out in the desert. Tonight they take on the Chicago Bulls.

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

So far, the Las Vegas Summer League has been going well for the Raptors. In their first game against Sacramento on Friday, Toronto was dominant, beating the Kings by 22 points. Delon Wright was cooking with nine assists, Normal Powell was flying up and down the court to the tune of 20 points, and Bruno Caboclo's high top fade was on point. (To say nothing of his smooth 3-point shooting stroke.)

Now the Raptors prepare to take on the Chicago Bulls in their second game in Vegas. For Toronto the storyline is the same: see what kind of strides Bruno has made, decide whether or not Lucas Nogueira is ready for a bigger role in the NBA, watch Wright play like the mature playmaker that he is, and understand just how useful Powell's game may be.

On the Chicago side, by my count, there are two things/players to keep an eye on. First, we get to watch second year man Doug McDermott get an expanded role for a run. You have to figure with coach Tom Thibodeau gone, McDermott may be given more of a chance in Chi-town. And second, we wonder idly about Bobby Portis. The Raptors could have drafted him at 20 in this year's draft, and while Wright so far has been showing his talent, we still have to ask. Could the Raptors have gone with the big man instead?

Time will tell. Game info below. Let's get in the comments.

Tip-Off Time: 6pm
