It's been quite some time since we had Raptors basketball to watch, so we're switching things up a bit here and putting up game threads for the remainder of this series ("only three more of these then," said Warriors fans) for anyone who wants to chat about the game, or anything basketball or Raptors related.
The main storyline is clear heading into Game 2: the Cavs are down 1-0 in the series, they lost Kyrie Irving for the rest of the series with a fractured kneecap suffered in Game 1, and now LeBron has to really carry this whole team almost by himself (with cameos from Tristan Thompson, Timofey Mozgov, Iman Shumpert and whatever they can get from J.R. Smith, which is a roll of the dice on a nightly basis).
LeBron had 42 points in Game 1, but needed 38 shots to do it. And the truth is: it'll probably be more of the same tonight, maybe even an increase in usage for the King if you can fathom that.
Fall behind 2-0, and this series is probably over. So, must win tonight for Cleveland? I think so.
Discuss!
