With NBA free agency set to officially begin at the stroke of midnight tonight, the rumours are starting to fly. If you've come down from the LaMarcus Aldridge high of yesterday (big if), let's talk about a different, smaller, Raptors rumour.
Could the Raptors be interested in the Hornets' Bismack Biyombo?
According to Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer, apparently Toronto is a team to watch in the Biyombo Sweepstakes:
Team to watch regarding Bismack Biyombo's unrestricted free agency: Toronto Raptors.

From our friends at At the Hive, it has been confirmed that the Hornets will not make a qualifying offer to Biyombo. Starting tomorrow, he'll officially be a free agent.
Now, if you'll recall, Biyombo was once the seventh pick in the 2011 NBA Draft. He's long been thought to be a project of the highest order. (Mostly because, outside of extreme size and athleticism, he doesn't look to have any actual basketball skills.) In four years with Charlotte, Biyombo averaged 4.4 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.6 blocks. He's still only 22 years old, by the way.
If you're the Raptors and you're looking for rim protection (and you run a largely perimeter-based offense), do you take a serious look at Biyombo?
What do you guys think?
