We're getting down to the dog-dog-dog days of the NBA season. The playoffs needed to start yesterday, but somehow we still have two weeks to go. The war for playoff seeding in the West still rages, and somebody has to claim the seven- and eight-seeds in the East. It's exciting, but much like the players themselves, we need a reason to push on through and keep our fan flames burning bright.
Over on r/TorontoRaptors, the user TheRealSpaghettino (gotta love that handle) has put together a fun survey to take the pulse of Raptors fans at this very moment. The team is sitting at 45-30, they're on a three-game win streak, and a favourable first round matchup awaits.
But as always, there are questions. To get you started, here are a few of my favourites from the survey to consider:
- Should Dwane Casey be the coach of the team next year?
- What Raptor would you like to see get an increase (or decrease) in minutes?
- In seven years, Terrence Ross will be...?
- Which three players must remain on the roster for the Raps to take the next step? (Really tough to answer when you think about it)
- Who is the best assistant coach in the NBA? One option was provided - and I'll give you one guess who it is.
In any case, have a go at the survey if for no other reason than to vent your emotions for the team, or answer some of the questions in the Comments section.
What do you guys think?
