This Week In Social: The Raptors Discover Dubsmash

Your weekly look inside the lives of the Toronto Raptors (who are pretty weird).

Jeremy Brevard-USA TODAY Sports

Well, here we are. A week left in the regular season, when thoughts turn to playoffs and away from the slog that is early April basketball. The Toronto Raptors have lacked drama on the court lately - the team is up and down, they're not really fighting for much except seeding, and it's getting a little late to learn great defence. That doesn't mean their social feeds haven't lit up, though, so let's get into the goods.

One of the Raptors downloaded the Dubsmash app in the past couple weeks, because it's spread around the locker room like the flu virus. Dubsmash, for the uninitiated, is a video app that allows you to dub an outside voice over your own video. Here's DeMar DeRozan and Amir Johnson with primetime examples.

Amir is our feature man this week, both because he treats Raptors fans in a variety of ways. For his annual "I Roll With Amir" contest, he took this lucky group out for dinner and prizes.

He also gives us an inside look at the Raptors locker room which is... something.

We conclude with Bruno Caboclo, who hasn't played any memorable minutes in months but still manages to own the hearts of Torontonians. Here he is receiving a snapback that has a damn display on the front.
