Outtakes from the Junos: DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry Have Teleprompter Troubles

The self-proclaimed best backcourt in the NBA stumbles through a Junos script.

I forgive you if you missed the 2015 Juno Awards this past weekend. I didn't watch either, but I'm told a disproportionate amount of awards went to Magic! (Kyle Lowry's favourite band) and that song about traditional marriage.

No matter.

The best thing to come out of the Juno Awards wasn't the award-winners or the performances, it was this two-and-a-half minute video of Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan repeatedly failing to read a teleprompter as they announce the nominees for "Single of the Year". It's worth a few laughs.

Among other things, DeRozan has a hard time pronouncing Majid Jordan and "Sam Roberts The Band", Kyle Lowry has a hard time working without "taking a pause", and the boom mic operator has a hard time staying out of the shot.

Before you get all judgmental, though, Lowry wants you to remember this isn't their day job.

All in all, it's nice to see another example of the Toronto Raptors two-headed monster being best of friends. The continued Lowry / DeRozan bromance can only help as the team gets back on track leading up to the playoffs.

So, did you watch the Junos? Was Jacob Hoggard actually the host, or was that just a nightmare I had? Can we go one week without a shout out to "the homie" Drake?
