Along with starting in the All-Star game on Sunday night, Kyle Lowry will represent the Raptors as part of All-Star Saturday night. He'll be there to take part in the Taco Bell Skills Challenge.
Lowry will be the second Raptor to take part in the event following DeRozan's participation last year, and will compete against a group of talented young players, including the likes of John Wall, Jeff Teague, Jimmy Butler and Brandon Knight.
While the field features a bunch of highlight making players, Lowry should have a decent chance of winning the competition if he chooses to put out a full-fledged effort. Luckily the skills competition is an offensive contest, so the mediocre defence Kyle's been playing lately won't affect his chances.
Regardless of his result, it's nice for the Raps to have a participant on Saturday night with no Raptor in the dunk contest in what seems like forever!
What do you guys think? Care to pick a winner?
