Here is your FanDuel info and some tips for Raptors vs. Warriors

Since the Raptors haven't been playing on Fridays lately, we've moved this week's FanDuel post to Saturday to line up with the big showdown with the 20-0 Warriors. Come play along!

How boring was your Friday? No Raptors game and no accompanying FanDuel post.

Well, since the Raptors haven't been playing on Friday nights lately, we decided to shift this week's post by a day so that it corresponds with the big matchup versus the 20-0 Golden State Warriors.

Every Raptors fan should be tuned into this one, so we're giving you all a chance to play along with a one-day fantasy basketball tournament, presented by FanDuel, SB Nation, and Raptors HQ!

Here are the details:

  • Click here to sign up for FanDuel if you haven't already. Raptors HQ readers get a 100 percent first time matching deposit bonus (up to $200).
  • Click here to enter the contest we're promoting tonight. It's free to play and half the teams win money (new users only). If you're not new, you can always click here to join in on one of the night's big tournaments.
  • If you want to follow along with others playing in either of these tournaments, use the hashtag #FanDuelSBN on Twitter.
  • If you're not sure how FanDuel works, check out our initial post on the partnership from the start of the season.

If you're like me, you enjoy having a Raptor in your FanDuel lineup to root for as you watch the game. Most of today's contests will be for the games happening from 8:00pm onwards (including the ones linked above), but if you get in on an early contest and want a Raptor in your lineup, you should go with:

Kyle Lowry ($8,800)

Lowry represents one of the most comfortable lineup choices on FanDuel these days. He's averaging 39.6 fantasy points per game (FPPG) on the season and 42.7 over his last five. Over that five-game span, his averages of 23.6 points, 5.8 rebounds, 5.4 assists, 2.6 steals, 0.8 blocks, and 2.8 turnovers per contest have been pure fantasy gold and you'll want to ride him while he's hot.

Even the 33.1 fantasy points (FP) he scored versus Phoenix last week still hit value for his price point, despite being his lowest total in 13 games. In fact, according to the FanDuel Salary vs. FP chart on Lowry's profile on numberFire.com, Lowry hasn't put up a performance below value since November 6th, even with a gradually increasing price tag. Don't overthink the Warriors' top-tier defence either, since he put up 43.7 FP the last time these two teams met.

Simply put, Lowry's got a reliable floor, sky-high upside, and is still one of the most reasonably-priced studs in the industry. Set him in one of your point guard slots and move on.

Now, let's jump down to the comment section and construct some winning lineups, shall we?

Note: This is a sponsored post from FanDuel, a site that features all sorts of one-day fantasy basketball tournaments, including tonight's FREE game for new users (where half the league wins a cash prize). All of the opinions in this post are my own, and as an FYI, FanDuel gave me some cash to play its daily fantasy games.
