Raptors @ Heat: Let's win it for the 6

The Raptors' trek through Florida continues. This time, long the song says, we're in Miami.

So the Raptors can't win every game. We knew that, right guys? Still, 6-0 would have felt very nice, especially with the added symbolism the number 6 now holds for Toronto. But let's all try to relax, win number six will happen eventually.

This evening, the Raptors take on the Miami Heat, a tough out almost regardless of their lineup permutations. This Heat team has one of the better on-paper starting fives in the league (Wade-Dragic-Deng-Bosh-Whiteside) but starts to get thin after that. (Unless you're big on Mario Chalmers I suppose.) They have been able to rely on up-and-coming rookie Justice Winslow though, so that's something.

The Raptors will also potentially be without their glue guy DeMarre Carroll as he struggles with a bout of plantar fasciitis, the injury almost every NBA player has had at some point but no one is able to clearly explain. Without him, Terrence Ross will presumably get the start. (And maybe, gasp, James Johnson will get some minutes?)

(And go figure there's a Carroll Update twitter account. What a time to be alive.)

Before tip-off, read up on the matchup in our preview. Then let's get to the comments.
