As has seemingly become the norm, the Sacramento Kings are the NBA's biggest source of drama early in 2015-16.
Reports surfaced last week of all-star DeMarcus Cousins and Sacramento head coach George Karl feuding, with the latter rumoured to be on his way out of town.
Since then, the Kings have calmed the storm (somewhat) by putting together back-to-back wins and now welcome the Toronto Raptors to California's capital. Toronto has also recorded consecutive victories, so something's got to give.
It's the first of a five-game Western Conference road trip for the Raptors, so we'll see if they can get it started on a winning note. The undefeated Golden State Warriors loom on Tuesday, so it's key for DeMar DeRozan and company to get this one.
As a side note, Raptors 905 have dropped their first two games, both of which have come on the road against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. If you're thinking that team sounds familiar, yes, that was the Raptors' former D-League affiliate. At least Bruno is getting buckets, though.
