Raptors continue pre-season out west, prepare for the Los Angeles Lakers tonight

After falling to the defending champion Golden State Warriors, the Raptors continue their pre-season tonight against the Los Angeles Lakers.

After a game that featured a ridiculous Steph Curry shot--seriously this is insane--the Toronto Raptors are back in action tonight to take on the Kobe-led Los Angeles Lakers.

The last game didn't feature Kyle Lowry who sat out, however the new shredded bulldog is expected to suit up in this game tonight. Lowry had a dominate 20 point display against the Los Angeles Clippers earlier in the pre-season.

The Lakers come into this game with some bumps and bruises. In their game in Hawaii against the Utah Jazz, the Lakers lost in overtime 117-114. The contest featured more drama than your favourite soap opera. First, number two draft pick D'Angelo Russell left the game with a bruised glute muscle and is now not expected to play against Toronto. Meanwhile, Trevor Book decided he had enough of Roy Hibbert tactics and stood his ground despite Hibbert having size on his side.

For the Raptors, DeMarre Carroll comes into this game after posting 15 points against the Golden State Warriors, while adding three rebounds and one steal to his stat sheet. Jonas Valanciunas finished the night with eight points and 10 rebounds in the 22 minutes he saw.

Also noteworthy: This game will feature the Raptors' old friend Lou Williams, who left Toronto for a piece of Hollywood (and a nice contract) in the off-season.

Who's ready to watch the game? Tip-off is 10pm. Let's get to the comments.
