The Toronto Raptors' second round pick DeAndre Daniels successfully underwent surgery for a bone fragment in his right elbow on Monday. He's looking at a recovery time of 4-6 weeks. Daniels tweeted post surgery, optimistic about his recovery:
Surgery went well.

With a shortage of playing time for the prospect on the big club this year, General Manager Masai Ujiri found a spot for Daniels to develop his skills on the Perth Wildcats of the Australian National Basketball League this season.
Daniels has been touted as a high profile import for Perth, as he was set to become the heir apparent star on the club after last year's American player, James Ennis, joined the Miami Heat this season.
Although his injury will sideline him for the preseason, Daniels still has a good shot at getting back into playing shape for the regular season opener of the ANBL on October 10th.
