Although a close game for the majority of the first half, the United States pulled ahead of Slovenia and made this FIBA World Cup Quarterfinal game a laugher by the fourth quarter. The final score was 119-76 for Team USA. DeMar DeRozan didn't really affect the game until the fourth quarter, when he provided the audience with some fireworks.
Just before the three minute mark in the 4th, DeRozan handled the ball above the break and took off on a hard drive to the hole. Avoiding a swipe from a Slovenian defender, he threw down an authoritative tomahawk jam for a sweet, sweet finish. Check the highlight package:

DeMar managed to maximize his time on the floor going 3 for 3 from the field as well as grabbing two rebounds. Although they were essentially garbage time minutes, it's good to see DeRozan consistently hitting his shots once he gets into the game.
The United States will next face Lithuania in the Semifinals, a game of large interest to Raps fans as Jonas Valanciunas (who has been a monster for the Lithuanians) and DeRozan will face off.
As Emmet Ryan of Ball In Europe discovered, DeRozan thinks this will be "cool."
